An economic downturn in 1990 left me & many designers jobless. Initially I found work with Steve Weis designing wrought iron pieces for his clients. However I had been thinking about starting S+G & Steve was interested. When I wanted to go it alone he said “F*** off then and do it”. Great advice, thanks Steve!
