In 1990 while working for Media 5 (Now DBI), I designed furniture for the presidential suite, executive suites, junior suites, public spaces and restaurants.
The TV rotates, facing either the bedroom or the lounge. Flipper hinge doors are fitted both sides to hide the TV.
Built in cabinet shown with doors closed to hide the TV.
The desk is an oval shape.
The side table was hand built in Toowoomba by Weis Iron.
Also for the suite, wall sconces featuring hand slumped glass for the diffuser.
Beautifully made and detailed in Brisbane, the side table was part of the $350k spent on the fit out of the Presidential Suite.
The ceiling light was hand forged with original slumped glass.
