In July 1975 a bad smash left me legless. That is; requiring mechanical assistance to ambulate. A problem to solve. I invented a new crutch featuring under arm pivot to avoid chaffing and folding leg to make these clumsy items compact when not in use (featured on the ABC Inventors programme).
